Visited the Strasenburgh Planetarium in Rochester

Friday, August 23, 2024

Since our little boy is into science and tends to always talk about the planets and moon. We decided to take him to the planetarium. It was well worth the drive and we ended up watching "Forward! To the moon". The Space shows designed for children (young and old) that identify major stars, constellations, and the movement of the planets  a great way to introduce the planetarium to younger audiences.

A trip to the Strasenburgh Planetarium is always enjoyable in all ages.

You can buy tickets online or at the ticket window when you get there. Pricing was reasonable and there's a mini walk tour of the area with everything space/solar system related exhibited there. There are different shows going on right now; so it's best to view the schedule before going. Also, there's a little area for buying souvenirs for the little ones.

The Strasenburgh Planetarium | Rochester Museum & Science Center is definitely a gem in Rochester, New York.

My boys love it here and it's always a new experience.

We need more educational places like this for our young minds to learn.

We will be coming back. We're very excited for the laser shows coming up. A little get away over the weekend!
