Discover Foxfire Mountain Swinging Bridge

Sunday, June 17, 2018
Those visiting to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge must check out Foxfire Mountain Adventure Park.  If you and your family are looking for a great place to spend a day; visit Foxfire Mountain located at:  3757 Thomas Ln, Sevierville, TN 37876.   They are a little off the beaten path, but its completely worth it.  This park is perfect for family adventure with a  short hike and  breathtaking waterfalls.

Did you know  that the longest "Swinging Bridge" in United States is located right here in East Tennessee?

From FoxFire Mountain entrance  you can cross The Bridge to Prosperity towards the hiking trail and waterfalls. Heights might not be your thing, but this bridge is safe, sturdy and has amazing views. These bridges are made of steel cable, wood and rock , fun thing about it is that they really do swing.

The park features a rock climbing wall, ATV tours, the longest swinging bridge in America, and two zip line courses -- there’s no shortage of adventures here!
Cider house and Gift Shop that sells both hard and soft handcrafted cider.

Welcome to America's Bridge to Prosperity
This Bridge is 4 feet wide and over 400 feet long.

Welcome to Prosperity Mountain - Where wishes ⭐ really do come true!

The  longest swinging bridge part is at the very beginning then  you walk over it and it leads you to an area that has different types of tree top swinging bridges they are neat to walk across.

Cross that bridge and never look back - from tree to tree!
I always want to go on an adventure , being in the outdoors makes me happy!
Sometimes the bridges that are scary to cross lead to the most magical places.
Maybe we should build more bridges than walls!

This is a self-guided walking tour on a dirt path. We did the waterfall hike which is fun. Also there is a cute little "Wishing Bridge"  where you write your wish on a plastic colored  ribbon and tie it to the ceiling of the covered wishing bridge. I thought it was very entertaining ,you can see that post HERE.

If you enjoy this post feel free to share it and don't forget to follow us for more adventures.

    1. That's funny I used to be scared on height but I overcome it. When we start go hiking in the mountain. Some trails has no drills I learn to stay calm and focus on the goal. I bet your kids would love this park.

  2. I don't like heights or bridges that swing so I might have to enjoy watching my family cross the bridge without me. I've been to Gatlinburg many times but I've never visited Foxfire Mountain. It's gorgeous!

  10. Even though I don't like heights, I would totally try to cross that. I don't think we have that kind of bridge here in WV.

  11. Is the bridge sturdy enough to carry a lot of people on both sides? I always get annoyed when there are kids jumping all over and scaring people away.
