Rainforest Cafe restaurant is designed to depict some features of a tropical rainforest, including plant growth, mist, waterfalls, and figures of rainforest animals, including elephants, gorillas, jaguars, snakes, frogs, iguanas, butterflies, and tropical birds. It also includes fish tanks. The fun part , is that every 45 minutes or so, a jungle thunderstorm
rolls through the establishment, complete with lightning and thunder.
Most of their locations also have themed exteriors as well as interiors. So far we've been to two of their locations: The Rainforest Cafe in Niagara Falls, New York - Canada border they have the appearance of ancient jungle ruins. While mall locations like the one in Nashville, Tennessee have waterfalls and simulated plant growth outside of them, visible to those who pass in the mall. There are also a few reef fish tanks in each restaurant. Most locations have two tanks connected over the throughway from the gift shop to the restaurant.

The entrance is very pretty hard to resist not to get in. Snakes are
mostly positioned at the entrance of the retail village, wrapped around a
branch and greeting guests from above. |
|
Waterfalls at the entrance area. |
|
Huge fish tank almost every corner of the restaurant. |
|
One of the tasty grilled chicken salad I've ever had. |
Parents and kids can be just as happy eating here, with a varied regular menu. You can start out your meal with an appetizer, soup or salad. For an entrée, you can choose from seafood, pasta, sandwiches, burgers, beef, pork and chicken dishes.

Some of the animals are animatronic just like this young elephants on the other side was the adult one. |
What location of Rainforest Cafe have you been? How do you like the forest theme like and their food?

ReplyDeleteThese restaurants are so fun! We went to a similar one with my son in Orlando called T-Rex. It's set up the same with all sorts of dinosaurs and fun light and sound displays every 15 minutes or so. Both are so much fun!
ReplyDeleteThese restaurants have so much to look at. It is almost like an artwork itself in if there was no restaurant in there I still think people would come and look at everything. They did a very good job decorating this place.
ReplyDeleteI've only been to the Rainforest Cafe a handful of times. Each one was amazing and so much fun.
