The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Austin Airport provides boasts on their website that this is the capital city of live music and do you know what? It’s not wrong. In fact, if you’re looking for a place where you can experience some of the best country music in the world, whether it’s on the street, in a restaurant or standing on a bar, we guarantee this is where you want to be. You’ll get great food, fantastic drinks and arguably one of the best shows you’ve seen in your life. You’ll see famous musicians here as well as undiscovered locals who can certainly rival the greats.
Austin offers an unbeatable musical culture that has to be experienced to be truly appreciated.
Bathe In Beautiful Spring Water
You will also find a gorgeous pool called Barton Springs. This is a pool with naturally 70 degrees Fahrenheit water that feels like a warm outdoor bath. It’s perfect if it’s a bit nippy outside but even better in the middle of summer. You’ll find that hundreds of people flock to this outdoor pool on the best days of the year. There are even parts where you can dive. So, it’s kind of like jumping into a massive tub after you’ve filled it to the brim with water that’s at the perfect temperature. Does that sound inviting to you?
Head To Lake Austin For A Spectacular Show
If you journey to lake Austin in the evening, you’ll be able to rent a boat and move out into the center of the lake. There, as the sun begins to set and the sky darkens wait with the rest of the boats for an incredible, spectacular fireworks show like no other. This is incredibly romantic and best appreciated in the arms of the one you love.
Football How It’s Meant To Be Appreciated
No one quite takes football seriously like Texans and to find out what we mean head over to Austin University to view a football game with a crowd of passionate fans. Whichever team you choose to support, we’re sure you’ll get caught up in the euphoric feeling, chants and cheers as you see incredible players score heart-stopping touchdowns.
Head To The Best Theater In The World
Don’t take our word for it. Quentin Tarantino, Elijah Wood and Richard Linklater named the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin the best theater in the world. It’s not hard to see why. After all, you can get a full meal with wine or beer and enjoy one of the classic movies on a massive screen, rather than the typical green screen superhero bonanza that plagues the theaters these days.
So, what’s on your top ten places to travel list now? You definitely need to make a space for Austin.
