This beautiful view is one of my favorite stop over going to Pikes Peak. There is something in here that I feel so close to nature. I've never seen such a place like this that has mountain view with snow on top, Pine Trees, body of water and clay soil. All together in one place! I'm in total awe and grateful for being able to experience something so magical, yeah.... I know it sounds cheesy, but that's what it feels like!
Crystal Creek Reservoir is located at northwest side of Pikes Peak in Teller County, Colorado. The reservoir and surrounding Pike National Forest land offers opportunities for boating, fishing, camping, and hunting, among other activities and can be accessed from the Pikes Peak Highway.
Definitely take time to stop at the Crystal Reservoir. And keep your eyes peeled. |

ReplyDeleteThe scenery looks a bit like our tropical spots here in the Phils, except for that nice looking snow capped mountain!
ReplyDeleteThe view itself is just so wonderful to look at! I would go to this place when it's cold with cool breeze to accompany with. As what you've said, it's perfect for fishing, camping and all sorts of stuff. I also have the same experience at Dahilayan, Bukidnon where the view itself is like in New Zealand! :D
