My husband and I stumbled across this place while we were in Fremont East downtown old Las Vegas Strip. This restaurant was absolutely hilarious, I have seen The Heart Attack Grill before from several TV programs. This restaurant is in the Guinness Book of Records for fattiest burger. I'm a little apprehensive about this place, quiet frankly I'm not fond of fatty foods but I wanted to experience it. Their menu is really unbelievable high calories , I was amazed by the size of the portions and the price. A good gimmick was to give a free "meal" to anyone who weighed over 350 lbs. You can weigh yourself before entering. When you walk in they will put a bracelet on your wrist and give you a hospital gown to wear. The waitresses and bar tenders wear nurses are like Hooters girls . There is nothing low calorie about this place and you have to eat your entire hamburger. For the tourist like us remember, only order the burger you can eat or you will get paddled by the nurses for not eating all of your food. At the end of the day, you definitely will leave feeling full and bloated. It's all in the experience.

Sounds so scary but it's true though! It's good that they remind people that fats are really bad for you! It's very interesting place though. I will probably check it out if I have a chance to visit Vegas someday!
ReplyDeletethat's freakin crazy. it is one way of promoting obesity!:/

ReplyDeleteWhat a unique restaurant to eat. I do like to eat burgers but hardly can eat one piece of burger from McDonalds. They treat their customers unique too by let them wear a gown, so silly.

Oh Dear! The name says it all. My husband and I better share a meal if we ever make it to this place. LOL! My aunt from the Philippines are coming to Vegas this month and if I make it to our little family reunion, that would be exciting to explore Vegas for the first time. Thank you for sharing these lovely photos and about the Heart Attack Grill. I would probably get a spanking since I won't be able to finish my meal. LOL!

Yikes that whole restaurant is highly offensive to overweight people such as myself. I've heard about it before but reading the name of the foods, it's really offensive. A man even had a heart attack while eating there last year I believe. However the free food does sound enticing since I am over 350lbs, however I'd feel humiliated eating there.
ReplyDeletei saw this featured on t.v before and i think they are funny and making a good business with their restaurant's name and how they run it.
